The characteristics of aluminum zinc plated plate in practical use are very obvious, because it does have good corrosion resistance after treatment, and can be used with confidence in harsh or normal environments. Aluminum zinc plated plates are divided into categories such as passivation, oil coating, passivation oil coating, paint sealing, phosphating, or untreated. Below, we will briefly introduce the classification of surface treatment processes for aluminum zinc plated plates?

Classification of surface treatment processes for aluminum zinc plated plates:

(1) Passivation aluminum zinc plated plate. The passivation of aluminum zinc plated plates is to reduce the occurrence of white rust under humid conditions, and a passivation protective film is further applied to the surface of the galvanized product. According to the type of passivation film, it can be divided into products such as hexavalent chromium passivation, third-order chromium passivation, and chromium free passivation, which are generally not used in zinc iron alloy plates.

(2) Oil coated aluminum zinc plate. The purpose of applying oil to aluminum zinc plated plates is also to prevent white rust from occurring when the product is damp. However, due to the easy volatilization or erasure of rust prevention oil, it can only be effective before use. The methods of oiling include electrostatic oiling and roller oiling. If you want to prevent white rust from occurring on aluminum zinc plated plates during use, it is recommended to use passivation and oiling. Color coated substrates are more suitable for light oil treatment, and the oil applied can be cleaned and removed during the pre-treatment of the color coating line.

(3) Paint sealed aluminum zinc plated plate. Paint sealed products, commonly known as fingerprint resistant products, are coated with a particularly thin layer of fingerprint resistant protective film on the surface of the galvanized product to prevent fingerprints from being left on the aluminum zinc plate during the processing. At the same time, it can also improve the corrosion resistance of aluminum zinc plated plates and the coating performance of products.

(4) Phosphated aluminum zinc plated plate. Aluminum zinc plating is used to prevent corrosion on the surface of steel plates and extend their service life. A layer of metallic zinc is coated on the surface of the steel plate, and this type of zinc coated thin steel plate is called aluminum zinc plated plate. Galvanization is a commonly used economical and better anti-corrosion method, and about half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.
